Have had several opinions on removing front swaybar on street for weight & space. Don't want to road race just cleanup for local cruising & red lite fun!!

Any thoughts?? :dunno:

I wouldn't take it off, the car will feel like it wants to tip over whenever you make a turn and it will handle dangerously. 20 years ago, i used to take off my front sway bar on a mustang I had, it was supposed to make the car launch better and it did but, it wasn't worth the loss of handling. I advise not.

No! At the least you need an ATR rear bar or better unless you like it so sloppy that if a wind blows while you on a bridge you don't mind sliding over one lane. :eek!:
I have the ATR bar & body bushings etc etc & it's cool for the launch but at 100 mph it's not so fun!! With a big azz rear bar setup then you can handle it but it's a lot of extra attention due to any weather shifts. Just get a Hollow Front Bar with new poly mounts & you have less weight & great handling.
