hey everyone i need to know the cfm on the stock GN fan. and is it a push or pull its for a friend of mine.

It's definitly a puller. IE, pulls the air through the radiator b/c it's on the back. I believe it was rated at 2400cfm. Someone step in if that's wrong.

Whatever it is it aint enough! Get some spals or make your own like i did" Im using the condensor & rad fans off a Toyota.

damn. ok scrach that. my friend is building a real healthy 350 needs some cooling.

The fan on my car runs 2,800 CFM.
But it's not stock.
Not sure where my bro got it from.

If you get a 5000cfm fan for the Monte it will improve your ET by a 1/2 sec. It will pull enough air to create the "airplane effect". I'm sure Steve can explain this better then me.

My car has the "Jet effect". I step on the gas, and it takes off. I know you guys know what I'm talking about!

This was posted by Tony DeQuick from his actual measurements...

<1920 CFM free-flow, ~1250 CFM loaded as installed based on my 80k mile fan.
The loaded CFM will change based on the clearance between the radiator and
fan. For the curious, that's about a .6" H20 load.>

yeah he isnt gonna run that fan now. he needs alot more CFM.
