Anyone using this and if so, would it work with my combo (TA-49 and stock converter)?

Anyone using the Launch Assist on the Extender chip? Also, which module on the passenger fender is the ESC? Thanks.

Hey Jim, what is the "launch assist" feature? I believe the ESC is the 3"x3"x 1/2" module, it is under the drip sheild near the middle of the fender (it would be the one closest to the windsheild).

Mike,

Extender chip directions say "this feature enhances spoolup while brake-torqueing at more than 1/2 throttle, helping to overcome overly large turbochargers and/or excessively tight torque converters".

Thanks for the location of the ESC. Its use is involved in turning on the launch assist.

I just got my extender chip. I haven't tried it out yet, but I wouldn't think it would help us much. I don't have any problems whatsoever getting as much boost as I want, and I usually do it at less than 1/2 throttle so I don't think it will help me any.

I think it's designed to help guys with the stock D5 and bigger turbo's like 51, 52, 60 etc.
