I am currently planning the rebuild of an 87 engine- Goal is mid to high 11 second performance- The machine shop has suggested using the Federal Mogul Aluminum/Silicon bearings- Has anyone used these, what experience is out there?
Thanks, Dave

Don't care for the FM alum bearings. We use the Clevitte 77 which are tri-metal if we cann't get the FM HD tri-metal bearings as they have dis-continued many sizes.
