Just curious, a friend of mine asked me if you have to change the stock turbo heat shield in order to make the THDP fit on a stock turbo. Any replys are appreciated

Nope...just need to trim the shield a little
...a jig saw with metal cutting blade works fine...you should have gotten a template for trimming the shield with the THDP...if not I believe the template is on the GNTTYPE Web Site somewhere...
