I have 2 chips that I am curious about.
1 is a Kenne Bell Part Number 9006.
The other Pit Bull HP 137TX-528SDL.
Anyone know anything about these chips?
I don't know what the # or ID is of the 1 in the computer.
I'll relay that this weekend.
Thanks In Advance.

Time for me to get ready for my 12 hour shift.
Catch you in the morning.

the 9006 is the first KB chip..stock timing, more wastegate solenoid dc are the main differences. I suspect the pitbull is the same. Both are archaic by today's standards.

Ok.
So the above chips are old technology.
Are either of them close to a stock chip?
Just in case the chip in the car is a bit on the High perf side.
My older bro whom owned the car before me had NOS
on it.
I am not sure if he ever took the chip out and put a somewhat stock style chip back in it.
I got to thinking maybe that's why my BL #s are running at 105.
I'll head outside and check the #s on the chip.
He did tell me at 1 point in time. He ordered a Kenne Bell chip.
I guess they had the pins on the chip in the wrong spot because he ended up having to buy a new comp. KB said that that was not the case. So he sent them the chip back.
KB was nice enough to send him a correctly pinned chip and told my bro he was basically S.O.L. on the comp.

Anywho.
I'll be back.

Ok.
There are 2 white sticker tags on it.
The 1 on the prom carrier is faded.
But I can make out TRAK PAK on it.
The sticker on the prom itself is very readable.
But some parts of the prom holder is covering the text.
Is there a SAFE....... Way of taking the prom out of it's holder to read the information without destroying the chip?
If So.
I'll post the info I find on the chip here so yous guys can decipher what the he11 it is.
aight.
Thanks in Advance.

If you aren't going to spend the money on a new modern technology chip try the KenneBell 9006.

Use good gas and keep the boost to 15psi.

Should run fine.

I'll spend the money on a new chip.
I just wanna get a few more go-fast parts on it before I have a new chip burned.

Have you ever heard of a Trak Pak chip?
You know anything about it. Let me know.
