I just got my new cap in last night, followed the direction all the way up to spinning the cam sensor shaft to light up the LED. I spun it slowly Counter Clockwise a full 360 degrees and never got a light. Key On Engine off.
So I probed the harness and got now power coming in on any wire. So I installed my Ignition module/Coilpak to see if that made a difference, and now I have power coming in on the blue and the grey and red wires.
Still no light on the cam sensor cap when I rotate it, though.
I currently have no other sensors hooked up, and when I took the original cap off at TDC, the window was pointing up at around 2 o'clock instead of the factory 4 o'clock. This shouldn't make a difference, but it goes to show that it has been messed with.
Just wondering where I should go from here.
Thanks.
