I recently got my engine rebuilt and has a fast classic system on it and it was having a cold start.. Now it turns on the battery is brand new and it just doesnt crank at all. I was going to go buy a new starter but wanted to make sure that was what was wrong when I go to crank it the brake light lights up as well as the Volts light? :dunno: Can anyone help? I read the guide on here but still not getting it any ideas?

Check that the Purple starter exciter wire gets power when key is in start position. Halfway down the steering column it's the ign connection (can't think of the proper name??) has a Purple wire in & then out to starter. Check both sides for power. Also good reading at Vortex Buicks that should have more info.
