Canadian Window Sticker

Does anyone have a Canadian window sticker for their car (or any other GM American built car delivered to Canada around '87 model year)?
I have all the prices, etc for my car but the company in the U.S. that supplies reproduction window stickers for Kirbans does not do them for Canadian cars. I've consulted the great oracle Google but had no luck.

I have one on my car...on the drivers side mirror. Says..."Images In Mirror are Losing".
Didn't think to get it at the time, even my bill of sale line items were rounded to even dollars by my oldtimer salesman.

:D Got one of those too, sitting in the garage with most of the other parts I've collected. Some day . . .

I've got my bill of sale for the 1st GN I owned as well is this document, but I'd like to get an image of a window sticker to see the differences between the US and Canadian versions.

Don't see the tremclad bumper option tho...
Brian, you have most likely the rarest of rare items to find for a GN. Like we discussed over coffee you will need to find an original owner who did not get his car "dealer preped". Although I am not 100% sure, GM Canada did require Window Stickers in '87.

If you go to the GM Canada web site they have a historical section. Every car imported or manufactured in Canada since the mid 50's is stored in there data base... Options, prices and numbers produced for the Canadian market. If you fire off an email to them we can find out if the window sticker existed.

That's the company that Kirbans now sells the window stickers for. Unfortunately they don't have a template for Candian cars

It also had the (very annoying) Sentinel Light package too. I don't miss that.
My current car has the tremclad bumper option - also very rare.

And the even rarer self removing T Top option.

Complete with explosive bolts for quick flight.

And I have the ultra of ultra rare GN's. The automatic dual self removing headgaskets option...with the ultra loud party favour.

In the block.
Seriously, passenger side with the cord tied up to the rad support beside the battery. Steve (etobicoke gn) has one on his car. Really useful option for our cars. The option kode is K05. My car was one of the late production models, heavily optioned so the customer likely didn't even pick the one, it just came that way. GM will do anything to make a buck.

I was told that Canadian cars did not come with a window sticker. I bought mine new and saw it before prep and no sticker.

That's interesting to know. I wonder why the U.S. cars would get them but not the ones exported to Canada?
Makes no sense, we've seen them, right? Wouldn't trust the dealers to print them.
Somebody ask the GM archivists.
I ordered my GN in 86... arrived June/87. The car was prepped and ready to go when I picked it up... no window sticker. I assume that they trashed it, since I don't think they wanted me driving a car, with a window sticker still attached to the window. All I have is the invoice from Marvin Starr on how much I paid.

For my truck, I actually had to tell the dealer to save the window sticker for me!!!

I do know of a gentleman who bought an '87 brand new and did not have the dealer prep done. He just took the car and stored it away. It only has a few hundred km on it. Unfortunately he passed away a couple of years ago. Maybe if I approached his widow and asked very nicely, she would let me check the car . . .
