I am having trouble getting my 85 Turbo Riv. to start. I've changed the Ign. Mod. and replaced it with a conversion kit to a 86-87 module. Car still won't start. Someone told me it could be that the brain overheated? Can anyone fill me in on this. Any info would be appreciated.

Try changing the crank shaft sensor.

Was the car running before the change of modules?I would check and make sure the adaptor was installed the right way before I looked anywhere else.

The car was running, took it out on the E-way to blow it out, parked it, next morning went to start it and no go. Been that ever since. Did have spark and fuel pressure. Have changed the crank sensor and it burned it up. My mech. said all signs point to the ign. mod. which we have just changed and still no go. Any other ideas? I think there is a short or a wire fried, just haven't found it yet.

I would call John Spina and ask him.Any time you make a change and something happens,it's usually due to the change.
