I'm running a stock turbo with Walbro 340 @42psi, 110 race gas, cold air, 3" T.H.pipe open, 4.56 gears, 9" slicks at 13 psi. 1.66 sec 60' 12.3 @110.

The race chip I'm running rolls the boost back from 24psi in 1-3 gear to 20 in O.D.and the timing rolls of from 28 to 26. I was spinning the tires slightly off the line when the boost came on (5 psi launch). Should I go ahead and run full boost in 4th if there is no knock indicated on the turbo link? Should I run lower boost in 1st to make the boost level easier to control staging and eliminate the wheel spin when the full boost hits?

P.S. Air bags at 6 and 12psi

Since you have 4.56 gears you might be able to get away with it, but dont do it all at once. Any kind of knock when the motor is under max load like that can make her blow. Increase it in small increments
