Can I run the vaccum line to my boost gauge off of the pressure hose coming off of the fuel pressure regulator? The line to my MAP sensor is too far away to tap into, and it's too hard to get at the existing T because it is behind the block. I know, it wil look like monkey poop, but it should still work like this, right?

I learned (after I spliced into the map) that there is a place on the intake manifold, front drivers side, near the FPR, that you can tap into. I believe a standard size fitting will screw right in. I don't believe it is used on the Regals, but is on the turbo Riv's. You may want to email Herb "Headgaskets" Fishman, I know he did it.

Shawn,

If I remember right, the "hole" in the intake is behind the coil pack on the
front of the intake. It is a 1/8" pipe plug with about a 7/16" hex head (at
least mine was). There was a 1/8" pipe thread barb that came with my EDO
boost gauge that fit fine. It's a pretty easy hookup. Remember to route
the plastic tube so that it doesn't get toasted by a hot exhaust part. Nice
gauge and it works fine.
