I have had following problem ever since I hooked up my Boost Commander. With key on and engine off if I put the adjustment knob on the lowest setting the solenoid does not vent at all. I have to turn it up to the second dot to even get the solenoid to vent. The noise is rather faint. Boost will come up to 15lbs but sloowly. If I turn the adjustment knob just an 1/8 of an inch, I mean barely, the solenoid is ALOT louder when venting. The result of this is very quick spool up BUT the boost trys to shoot past 20lbs. So just a turn of an 1/8 of an inch on the adjustment knob means like an increase of over 7 or 8lbs of boost. I don't really know where it will stop because I have to let out of it. I've tried two different solenoids, two different y-hoses. I am only running ONE solenoid also. I do have a heavy-duty wastegate with a 15lb spring. Could this be the problem? Do I need to have my chip modified in order to run the heavy-duty wastegate and Boost Commander? The only thing I touched when I hooked it up is the turn on point. I have it as sensitive as it will go. Other than that the switches are the same as when I got it out of the box. Thanks.
