What do you call low rpms? It should build boost anytime you give it much pedal.

If it is adjustable, you lengthen the rod...but, I don't think that is the problem.

How much boost does it make at wide open throttle?

You put the factory tee or "y" back in when you replaced the hose?

You don't have a plugged up cat converter that is making it run hotter exhaustwise which is making it spool quicker?

It should not be making noise at 5-6# unless it has the wrong chip in it...such as a race chip
