Are there any donor cars for this piece that I can look for? Tech guy at the track last weekend didn't really care for my tarp strap fix :D

Kirban sells them or Mike McCoy or Brian Weaver should have some cheap. yup

Or you could find someone relocating the battery to the trunk and get one for nothing. :)

Don't know of any other cars that have them like a turbo car. dunno

Looks like a standard battery hold down to me. Is it different from a normal G-body?

Junk yard, Brian Weaver, hardware store for a piece of threaded rod and an a piece of strap, etc.

I would just go to the yards, but as I found out a while back looking for some other parts, there are very few if any left around the area--either been picked over, crushed, or are wrecked beyond any useful parts I could need....

Just thought I'd pass this along, went to one of the local yards in search of the vacuum brake conversion pieces. Donor car I picked was an '82 Grand Prix, and by some stroke of luck it also had the battery retainer bracket that I needed--also picked up a couple braces, all for $45.
