Removing a new cap causes 3 teeth to break off...wondering if there is a way to reattach or to reinforce them.

Thanks for any ideas.

2-3 small dabs of crazy glue also works well & lets you remove them easily.

I have found that using 1 or 1 1/2 layers of electricall tape around the locking tabs after a few have broken off helps keeps the center cap on the rim.

So you guys are gluing the caps onto the rims...I was referring to supporting somehow keeping the teeth (locking tabs) from breaking or reattaching them with some sort of backing the would support them.

Orlando...do you just cut through the silicone when going to change tires?? Clean them up and then re-silicone after new rubber is on the rims??

Thanks, Bob
