Im about to swap in my new adjustable fuel pressure regulator and was wondering if there was any "process" I should use. Is it as easy as it seems- take the old one off and put the new one in exactly the same? It looks as if there is a little bracket built in to the stock one, will the adjustable be ok without this type of support? And finally... can someone please explain to me how to depressurize the system? Sorry for the stupid questions but Im still new at this.

As Steve said, be careful of the o-rings as they can get cut pretty easy if you try to cram it in the fuel rail.

When installing hand tighten the bottom fuel line before tighting the 2 bolts to the rail. This will
prevent the stripping of the fuel line threads.
