Yes, they get paid, but not near as much as they would make if that technician doing the warranty work was working on non-warranty issues..NCBuickGN:
Yep, it's still black.
The original owner said he didn't want anyone touching the car except himself, so none of the recalls were ever done.
Like your dealer, our local Buick dealer may not be ecstatic about doing the "old" recall work. Just don't want any "lip" about it, so hope to go in with enough data & documentation so as to clear-up any confusion they're likely going to have on such an "old" car/recall.
Really don't know what their problem might be...GM reimburses the dealer for recall work, correct?
Phuk 'em, it's what they are there for, IMHO..
