More body pictures are here

Hope to be painted soon!

I hate to post about stuff I'm "going to do" and like to have some things bolted together to show - not too much of that right now, just a pile of very expensive parts.

The Stage 2 motor is still in work (see sig)

Doh! I didn't know you had to join to see those!

Here's some direct links:

The body kit is the Reaction Research 280YZ - It's an SCCA GT2 item. I made the tilt front from discreet fenders, hood, and air dam bonded together. There was no provision for headlight mounting, so I molded in some replacement-style Z headlight buckets. I was aiming for something that could still be identified as a Z, but grossly mutated.

Side skirts were designed and built by me - they will house sidepipes from my twin 60-1s' fenderwell dumps that will exit just ahead of the rear wheels.

I'm evaluating several styles of rear spoiler, haven't found the one that looks and functions well just yet. May have to make one.

I just had to have that antique LeMans filler cap as seen on vintage Cobras, Ferrari GTOs, and yes, Dodge Vipers.

Street wheels/tires shown here are 17X10 Mustang Cobras w/ 275/40 fronts and 315/35 rear tires. I have 18s for road race, and the wheel wells were built around rear 325/50-15 M/T DRs on 10" Pro Stars for the drag configuration.

Now if that darn machine shop would hurry up...
