Ok I kinda know what you need to do but I have a couple questions. You use Caprice upper control arms and B-body spindles(same a camaro?)with Camaro disc brakes? Do you also need custom tie rods as well? I was also thinking about getting Global West Upper Control Arms from the Caprice to put on the Regal. Any info would be greatly appreciated! wink

I don't believe you can use the Caprice upper A-arms. You need to go with Hotchkis, Global West, (or whoever else makes them) A-arms specific for the B-body spindle upgrade on the G-body otherwise the camber curve is all out of whack. I just ordered the Global West upper a-arms (superior to the Hotchkis w/poly bushings in my opinion). Unfortunately when I got my order I found out the A-arms are on back order. Also, you don't have to change the tie-rods BUT I would recommend getting the Baer Brakes Baer Tracker tie-rods that are adjustable. This will help remove bump steer caused by the changed suspension geometry.

I thought the upgraded controll arms were supposed to help with bump steer? Whats the point of the upgraded controll arms them?? Are the sphereical bushings to harsh.....? What do you think of them? Thanks!! usa

The new upper control arms get the camber back into an acceptable range. If you tried to use the stock control arms with the longer spindle, the wheels could not be aligned without using HUGE stacks of shims, and even then the spindle might hit the upper arm. Bump steer is caused by the fact that the replacement spindles don't have the steering arm attachment at the right height for the stock tie-rods and relay rod.
