Ford stepped up with the 305 hp (i think) v6 was in direct response to the v6 camaro. Your right I'm holding off on a purchase just to see if the new Z28 has the Cadi V supercharged motor in it. Anyone know when it is supposed to be out.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. The new Camaro looks great and has a fantastic engine but I don't think I'd want to buy one. I checked one out at the dealership today while the gf's Sky Redline was getting serviced and the Camaro feels weird inside with the high, narrow windows. It feels very small, and I'm only 5'10" average build. I tried sitting in the back and the backseat is worthless for anything but small kids.

On a related note, any info regarding the CTS-V wagon ? I had read that it was greenlighted but they had no info on it today at the dealership. The salesman told me there would be no cts-v wagon for model year 2011. I then asked about the regal station wagon and they had no info on that either, other than that there would be none for model year 2011. Is that just in Canada ? So far I'm 0/2 for cars I wanted to buy new: 2004-2006 GTO and the G8 GXP.

It is true. I've met him. He is pretty average. (J/K, Jason)

Check out autoblog.com and jalopnik.com for auto news... you'll be pleased to hear there are many green lights going on in GM.

Funny you mention the GTO, I saw a black 6.0L (LS2) GTO with ONTARIO plates on it at a Kelsey's in Brampton on Saturday night. Looks like we are able to start importing them now. I may have just found my new/next toy.

My buddy had his for over a year. Problem is you can't get any parts for them here and a US dealer will not sell you any unless you have an US address.

used SRT8 Chargers took a massive blow on resale with the camaro and the challanger.

We are probable going to end up keeping our when the highest offer we get is $20k.. instead of flushing what I owe on it down the toilet I might as well spray it..

JMO.. its not fast stock.. well at least not TR fast

I had a 04 Goat for about a year. The interior fit and finish was way better then anything I have seen from the General. It also drove like it was on rails and was a rocket ship. 0-165 was felt like no time. Unfortunatley two car seats did not fit very well into the back seat, so I got a 300 SRT 8. That was a really quick car as well and plenty of room.

Your probably right but growing up with all Mopars I am biased. My 64 GTO would have been nice but it was never fully restored by me & I sold it.
I had darts, Super Bee, Road Runner & an old beat up Challenger altho I drove my brother in laws when it was just a couple years old.
I guess it brings back good memories for me. Doubt I'll buy one but maybe one day?
Also had an Olds 2 door Ragtop in the Burgundy type color with the 455 Rocket engine (I think it was a 455) that was a nice car.
