What Exhaust to get?????

Hmmm,
Currently I have a Hooker Catback system. Now with my motor I am putting in I am def going to run tru duel exhaust. Will I need a crossmember for the Tru Dual , just wondering, cause i have a feeling i will need one , also, I am not sure weather or not to get a 2.5 exhaust, or 3 inch exhaust. Anyone have any pics of there exhaust they can show me , below are pics of my exhaust

You can't run true duals on a single turbo car as there is only one DP to feed the exhaust. If it were a twin turbo set up then you could run true duals i guess. The hooker will work well with most setups.

Not to burst your bubble, but this is not a motor, its a buick 355, supercharged/intercooled motor , sorry that I did not mention that before, but most people know this already

id vote behind the tire exit as they just don't look right to me straight back on the buicks. and use an X like stated earlier. Would probably sound very mean and flow pretty well

They sell exhaust systems too. Good prices as well. I'd go 3", behind or in front of tires. Flat black, not too loud. Where are you getting your headers?

joe its a proven fact that while you do gain HP from a more open exhaust system you do lose torque. i say go with true duel 2.5's with aero chambers. oh and a X pipe.

Can they do that Custom at Midas, the X-pipe I mean, cause they would have to make that to adapt to the exhaust kit. Plus I am getting twin eletric exhaust cutouts from Mark H, so it will be loud regardless

Joe, if you're looking for a shop that does custom exhaust work I would go to mufflex http://www.mufflex-performance.com/home.html They do awesome work. They are in trenton, but real close to the hamilton/quakerbridge area, very easy to get to.

.....I'd keep your current mufflers and tailpipes - and have a local shop make the header to muffler connections. Find a good shop and they should be able to do a h-pipe/x-pipe too.

It'll save you some $$$ - and should flow fine.

EDIT-after looking at you pics - you need all new. You system is all crush and crinkle bent.....not mandrel bent like the hooker should be.
