Thought I would create a thread that would display all known LC2 powered vehicles. Should be quite a bit of great info for someone stumbling across this forum for the first time. This list is updated each time I find a new engine swap. If you know of a conversion, but don't see it listed here, please email me directly with pictures or a link to the vehicle in question.

Very interesting thread

A/C Cobra replica at GSCA Nats
1967 ? Buick Skylark/GS teal colored 2002 Nats
Turbo Jag on Conley's website

Im VERY interested in doing this to my '69 Skylark and would consider trading my Regal Limited Turbo for a turnkey system.

Here's a picture of the Skylark

Email me directly at Alan@itnnetworks.com if you have interested

Thanks !!

Mike,
My GT6 has a 4.1, and if there is room, I have more pictures. I'm pretty much working on the final assembly now. Shouldn't be too long before it's drivable.

Are there any hybrid type gatherings in late August thru late October? I'm looking for places to drive it once it's done, and to check out some other peoples cars.

Thanks,
Greg

Well, I caught the hybrid bug. No, not a VW. I am building a carb'd turbo (without computer) 3.8L and I think I have finally come up with something original to put it into. One of my customers thinks that his cousin is getting rid of a vehicle that the motor is T.U. in. I am going to build up the motor and drop it into

A Postal Jeep. :D

I am going to keep it right hand drive and have the slider doors and all.

Don't forget me. I have not updated pics in a long time. I recently ran 9.80 at over 138mph.

The engine has dynoed at 520RWHP. The car weighs in at 2600lbs. I have worked hard at reducing weight. Anything that doesn't need to be there isn't.

Of course there is ALSO Clark Peterson's 89' Fleetwood Brogham Turbo, (www.buckshaw.com)

And Clark's 1984 Monte SS Turbo....

Both built by Clark and Myself

I saw a hybrid on E-bay about a year ago. I don't know who ended up with it but it was a DeLorean. Was hot air powered. headbang

Oh and last year at a huge car show about 70 miles from me I saw a 1948 Anglia that was powered by an 86 GN drivetrain.

Tapi,
Very cool car! I'm curious how you mounted the second turbo. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get this done similar to yours? Do you have a template for the bracket? I was thinking of doing a twin Chevy small block for my one T but the extra time of swapping motors doesn't make me smile. My Monte should have the twin Chevy done by early summer. So, I may put an additional turbo on the existing LC2 motor and I was amazed to see that you accomplished this. It has been done before by a recognized Buick vendor but he never released specific details regarding how he did it. Thanks in advance! headbang powersix

Hi John.

I still have the first headers I did, but I don't think they are worth anything. The next pair was much better in flow and sealing. I think the best way to do them is that you place the turbo where it fits and then route the headers one bend at the time. I used two outlet hoses for oil and they ran directly to oil pan. I used only one MAF and the air flow had to be divided after that.

I updated my e-mail in my profile today. If you have any questions, please contact me.
