I bought a used tranny from a member here, who owns a auto repair shop in the Bensalem PA area. His customer who owned the tranny told me it was full of billet parts, built for street/strip, ect.
Well it worked well untill I put the fresh motor in the car last yr. the "billet packed tranny" did not have one billet part in it, basically I was $1000 in the hole for a boat anchor.
If you live in the mid atlantic area, I recomend Michael's Transmission, here is a link to his website http://www.michaelsautocenter.com/
I told Michael to build that pos tranny like it was his own, and afterward discovered that my vigilante lock up was toast, so the tranny came back out and a new...... can't think of the name right now... ptc lock up went in. All in all I dropped $2800 cash in the deal, and am very happy with the tranny and converter.
