Oshawa "AutoFest 2015" ?

Autofest Oshawa - Prepare to be amazed!

August 21st to 23rd is just around the corner guys!

Looking forward to attending. Anyone in the group co-ordinating this?

I see this is open to 1985 or older.

Any news or updates?

Are we planning a mass Turbo Buick assault again this year?

Those dates work for me this year. I'm in if we decide to go.

Thanks
Scott

Hey Dave, More Boost (Bill) got us in under the "Buick Club" exemption since we are almost all 86s and 87s. The Corvette guys do the same thing. They are very strict with the model year cut off unless you're in a car club.

I'm willing to bet Bill has something in the works again for this year, last year was a blast!!!!

I have not been in touch with them yet, but I have no reason to believe
otherwise...

They Loved our entrance last year.

I have proposed a few requests for this year (we spoke after the event last year), I'd like to have us in some shade this year and I'd like to enter like anyone else and have a chance to win prizes.
This means a bit more entrance fee but well worth it.

We will see how that pans out and I'll keep you guys posted.

I guess we meet at the usual Timmies and then meet at Home depot in Whitby.
Any ideas?

I like the way we have been meeting at home depot, easy and lots of room for cars no traffic either. just the six or seven people at home depot in awe.

Been a while since I've been to Autofest. The year of manufacture restriction that some shows have usually deters me from bothering. Would be in for taking my 87 GN, would even be better with the 89 TTA, but I'm betting they would not let it in.

You can bring your TTA no problem as long as you are with our group.

I spoke with the car club last week. I have a meeting coming up to iron out some details. The club is opening up to all Muscle cars. That means we enter the show through normal channels. Get all the perks and are eligible for all the prizes.
My other request was a better area for us with some shade.

I will post more info as I get it.

Could you please request some scantily clad women to serve us ice cold beer?
