73 914 3.8 Buick V6 200hp 225ft torque

I have for sale a Porsche 1973 914 with a 200Hp 225 ft torque 3.8 Buick V-6 motor. The car is complete and ready to drive away. The conversion has been done for several years and has had all if any bugs worked out. Car drives great and has no handling problems. No steering shacks. or scary feeling. just needs paint and a rear floor pan.
This car was perchaced by me last year with no intension other than to experience the power of a American motor in a little 914. What a BLAST the torque of this motor is unreal. But it dose not overpower the car. Very sound installation and nice wiring job done to the fuel injection Yes that’s right this is a FI motor so its been done well. Car comes with all books from install and the receipts that will blow you away. Books are from Buick wiring to FI to the history of 914 and parts books galore.

The eng is quiet and has no bad sounds, dose not smoke or stumble.
Trans has been resealed and is shifting great. All gears no grinding
New high output clutch.

The interior is all there except the back pad and visors. Door panels are clean and I have a newer windshield to be put in before sale.

The exterior is very straight and has no sign of a accident or repair. It is by far NOT a pretty car but call me crazy I like it this way looks like the perfect bad boy car loud and fast if you wont to spell your name in tire rubber just step on the gas it will not let you down.

All lights and switches are working and are there, Passenger door lock needs 12 buck part
Hood latches and top latches all working. Hand brake Kind of works?

OK Rust well the body is clean no bubbles or spots the front and rear truck seems are good the longs on both passenger and driver side are good even near where the rear floor pan show problems. I can do a patch weld on the floor pan but I think it’s a whenever I get time job Like I said it has not effected the longs, Look at the door gaps and the triangle bracket that are key supports on a 914. So to be clear the rear floor pan need attension or replace not a big job the cable supports are all good.

The Highs
I have a 3.2L 6 and this cars pulls harder than my 6.
Lighter than a 3.2 motor
Car has large front Adjustable sway bar.
Biltien shocks front and rear last 5k miles
Oil changes 10-30 Syn oil.
External fan blown oil cooler
Front mounted radiator with some ducting. Receipt shows 1300
Aluminum pipes run under car
2.0 914 alloys
160 dg thermostat
SS brake lines all four corners
Oil pressure water gauges installed and working
All tires show about 60% tread
Very nice racing seats driver and passenger
I have windshield and front bumper top

The LONGS are great No rust
I Have a rear truck lid without the whole goes with car.

Only asking $5000 for this sorted car. 818 266 7774 heeltoe914@aol.com

Looks stuff but it’s a great runner with some good quality work done Add up the cost of the parts alone and you will see you cant do a conversation for less than I am asking. I am selling to buy a vintage race car. This is a project that you can drive to work as you play with it a.

The lows.
I have to sale to buy a racecar
The rear floor pan behind seats will need repair
The LONGS are great No rust
I have windshield and front bumper top
I have plastic for door lock.
I have fog light grills.

Car will be sold to be DRIVEN away NOT TOWED. Have no worry if you read it here that is the way the car sits and drives My 914 reputation stands by the information given.
This is not the last 914 I will be selling. In fact later this year I will have two 73s fours coming up for sale.

Nice set up. What is the donor engine from? Love the 914's and have seen a couple of the V8 conversions but I think this is a better set up as far as the weight and torque goes. If you have ever considered putting in a rwd 3.8 engine into a 914, I have what you need. I have an adapter plate and flywheel with bolts to mate a rwd 3.8 even fire engine to the porsche 914 transaxle. I came across this by chance a few years ago when dealing with someone on ebay about some GN parts. If I remember right this guy had this professionally done to put a gn engine into his porsche but he sold the car before he did the conversion. I considered doing the same thing since I love both types of cars but I've just stared at it in my basement ever since then. I know you didn't post here to get solicited but you don't see this conversion every day, do you? Love your car and good luck with the sale, and just let me know if you may be interested in my conversion parts. Thanks, Steve
