| 1986 stock GN with 75k+ miles. Interior is at least a 9-9.5 out of 10, extremely clean, no visable wear. Exterior is probably an 8-8.5 out of 10 (a few MINOR door dings and the original paint is not perfect, although nicer than any i've seen.) The paint has one area on the trunk where it looks as if it's slightly fading under the clearcoat, other than that, it's VERY nice and shiny! The only additions to the car are the basics to make it nicer, such as: in tank fuel pump upgrade, fuel pressure regulator, digital dash switch to allow it past 85mph, K&N intake system, new plugs/wires, stock sized Pirelli tires, better shocks, chrome turbo cover, and plenty of other minor items to make it the way GM should have. The rims are in excellent shape. Decided to sell to buy a truck/sport ute for our investment homes. I have a '00 SS Camaro and don't really need 2 toys!!! wheatona@wellsfargo.com andywheaton@cox.net |

| Just curious but is this the car that had the odometer messed with according to Carfax? This sounds like a nice car as long as the miles are correct. Paul Beal pbeal@sympatico.ca

| I had Nick Micale (GN guru here in Phoenix) look at the car to check out and verify that the odometer was not messed with. After looking at the car, taking care of the car and knowing the car for the last 4 1/2 years, he said there's no way the miles aren't accurate. He then took the front clip of the dash off and checked out all of the screws and other areas for any sort of wear or possible tampering. He said there was NONE!! I called the DMV in California to ask them how the records were messed up. They have NO records listed on the car showing any mileage from emmisions. I contacted numerous departments to find out if it could have been mistyped or inputted incorrectly. They, of course, told me that it could have been but they don't keep records like that so they wouldn't know. Like so many other people on this board that chimed in, the DMV in Cali is very backwards. Two different people posted as being the only owners of their cars with records from Carfax showing all kinds of goofy recordings. I was told not to put any faith in the Carfax reports from the California emmissions places (they can be a corner garage). Anyway, yes, it's an EXCELLENT car showing very very little wear anywhere. Nick Micale (www.azgrandnationals.com) said it's an excellent car and worth every penny. It's unfortunate something goofy like the Carfax report has to do this, and there's no way i can correct it through the California DMV... It's a no disappointment car though, believe me!!! Email me if anyone wants pics. andywheaton@cox.net wheatona@wellsfargo.com |

| Hey Weedo, Thanks for clearing that up. It looks like Carfax can sometimes be more of a hinderance than a help. Good luck selling that car it sounds like a sweet car. Paul Beal pbeal@sympatico.ca
