Long lost member getting back on my GN...MAF HELP

Hello folks, this is paul cummings from olean. Its been a while but I started working on the gn again. I have a problem and was looking for some advice, Joe, Larry, Jerry, etc.
My stock MAF bit the dust so I need to replace it. Not sure what to replace it with, stock, 3.5" LT1 or 3.0" LT1?
Stock would be simple but taking another risk of it going out.
3.5" LT I would need a translator and new plumbing for it.
3.0" LT I would need a translator but would fit almost directly in place of stock, maybe a short adapter.
Don't forget my 86 GN is mostly stock so I don't want to have driveability issues with too large MAF or limit myself with the smaller one, but maybe these are not issues?
Anyone have any leads on used ones?
Hope the club is doing well and maybe I will see you guys this spring. Thanks for the help.

paul
