I perused your new website and clicked on the V6 Board button. To my surprise, I was rerouted to "the other board"! Assuming you are cognizant of the board on which you posted this advertisement, I find that hard coded link perturbing.

There have been rather extensive and heated discussions regarding the bulletin boards in this very forum. A strong prevailing consensus here indicated opinion that the other board was primarily vendor driven and influenced, which appears incongruent with your inagural charter expressing fairness and an unbiased approach. I noted the Turbo Regal Website, gnttype.org was rightfully included on the Links page. Even the GSCA was included on the Links page.

In my opinion, the V6 Board link should also include an option to select this board, which is truly an unbiased forum for opinion. Unless Mike declined to be included, of course.

Sorry guys, it was an oversight on my part. I made you a separate button on the same page. Sound fair 'nuff?

WOW! Thanks Mike! I certainly do not presume to speak for Mike Savino, but I applaud your quick response and solution, which certainly negates my original complaint.

I will definitely join the new club. Somehow, I have the feeling your newsletter will arrive during the same month as the issue.

Thanks again for responding so quickly.

Ya Think?......

First edition of the newsletter will be ready in about 2 weeks, and when the test copies were mailed from Kansas, they showed up in major metro areas in 2 days, out in the weeds in 3 or 4, 5 at the most.

June/July newsletter will be mailed either with your new member packet, or in the last week of May

We need submissions of good tech material for the V-6 gang, we have enough V-8 stuff to fill several issues, but we don't work that way... Keeping balance was a heavily discussed issue during the formation of the club.

So send us your info, tech articles, and buildups, with pictures, and we will get them in the newsletter.

Thanks,

JW

Jim....I think it would be very nice to have some picture archives that show shots of a lot of the "how to do" questions...such as checking, assembling an oil pump or checking the thrust on a crank, etc. Perhaps, some of these items would make good articles for the newsletter.

Some of us older guys are constantly amazed at the questions we see addressing very basic items that we all take for granted because we grew up with a wrench in our hand rather than a keyboard.

Yes, definatly a good idea, for both the newsletter and the websites... obvioiusly the web can have more pictures, so that type of article could be put there.

I understand, we need a collective database of info, I am sure you see the same questions posted here a lot.

Typical for that to happen.

A club does this kind of stuff, developes and maintains databases.. and sells T-Shirts and hats ..

As long as you don't reprint your previous articles over and over again, I shall be happy.
