| Damm PRSRIZD_V6, It would take me a year to have a day like that! You might get stressed out if it wasn't for the fact you have a nice hobby to relax you!

| The good news is that the $125 prize money is almost enough to buy a new trailer tire and a headlight. Gonna be a long week fixing all this crap, probably won't make next weeks race.

| No, the good news is that I feel much better after reading that episode. Man, that would make a good series for HBO! I am glad that us old guys cannot remember more than about 30 minutes of stuff before we have to take a nap. So the Mafless wonder runs pretty good, huh? He told me has another idea to improve it now....

YES! all is good on that frontier as soon as I find my false knock. Unfortunately, I've got at least a week of repairs to the regular cars/ tow vehicles to face. I can't wait to get all of this crap taken care of and get back to playing GN.

| Well, just figured out the engine damage on the racecar. Bent a valve. This thing has had some serious valvetrain issues, this is the 2nd bent valve and I noticed a bent pushrod too.... arggh. Looks like the little 331 (327) that could is gonna need more work to compete with the 400+s I wonder if there's something we are missing with these Dart Sportsman 2's? Looks like my dad's new 377 will have to go in, darn It does have the same heads though.... I want this 331 for my car, lotsa gear makes it pretty peppy.ho-hum, at least I have sanding hardwood floors in my new house to look forward to. Steve, the grammar police were looking for you after that last post. Just when I was gonna let you proof read my thesis too... tisk-tisk.

Go mic your lifter bores to make sure they are not worn. Out of spec lifter bores will cause the sort of problems you all are having. May be time to have them bushed and reset to spec.

| I had the engine builder over today when I pulled the head off. I ran lifter bores and valve guides by him forgetting this was a virgin block when we started. He said the valve guides are new (which doesn't mean it isn't the problem) and that the the lifter bores were untouched. He checked them and said they shouldn't be an issue, not sure what the reading was. Says he'll fix it tonight. This guy is a great motor builder, best we've had in 12years of racing. Then I attacked the problem with the Suburban fuel leak, found a line with a leak in it. I pulled the line off, took it to the parts store. $90.20 for a pair of new lines, and you can't get the feed line alone. Have to wait until tomorrow when the floks can buy it from somewhere with the employee disount. As soon as this truck is done I can get the cube van trans out. My dad got a fresh(junkyard) trans for his S10, and a friend of his is going to swap them. Now for my first meal of the day and some time searching for false knock on the GN. The simpler things in life. When it comes to writing, I would say that my technical writing is far different from my speech. BSing with you clowns is a little closer, but probably less condescending and sarcastic than my actual speech.

| G-Man, I think you need a life as bad as Zap and I do. Zap- Just because the Tooth Fairy was a regular visitor to Leon's house does not mean he was dim witted. He got a lot more money for his teeth than you or I did.
