| Hi All, I just wanna know if anyone else has had a problem getting to post to the gsca bb. I will explain. I first registered for the gsca bb when it first came online about 2 years ago. I was active in posting mostly to the Turbo V6 TR area. Having owned my GN for 14 years and am now up to three TR’s and an active drag racer I have contributed in a positive way to the bb or so I thought. When the gsca bb went down a couple weeks ago and then came back online we were told to re register which I promptly did and the bb accepted my registration. About 5-6 days went by and I saw a thread that I thought I could contribute to in a positive way like I have always done in the past, so I wrote my reply and hit the send button and was then told the following: Sorry, but you do not have permission to reply to this topic. Your registration request may not yet may have been approved by the Administrator or your posting privileges have been removed. You may also be trying to post to a forum where you do not have permission to post. I was bewildered and perplexed to say the least. I emailed administrator Dave Greene and was sent the following reply: Why would you want to post to our board, Rich? I have rec'd a few emails from people letting me know you have been badmouthing us and the club (still) on the internet. Dave I replied: >>Hi Dave, Thanks for getting back to me. The reason I'd want to post your board is the same reasons I have in the past 2 years and that is to provide some of my knowledge and insight to other TR owners about these wonderful cars. I've owned these cars for the past 14 years and drag race them. I am up to three of them and feel with that many years experience I have been a useful and value added member of the bulletin board. Trying to help guys out with any problems they may have, that’s what help make Rich's Auto what it is today. Hope you would let me post again on the BB. While it is true that I disagree with some of the certain aspects of the gsca I never badmouthed them or flamed anyone on their bulletin board. It just doesn’t make any sense to me how could I go from a member in good standing three weeks ago to being banned now. I was never issued a warning by anyone on the BB for my conduct from then to now. All I wanted to do is be able to post like I was readily able to do just three weeks prior and to be a productive, value added member of the gsca bb like I was before. I have emailed all the moderators and administrators of the gsca bb and to date only two (Gunther & Mike) have gotten back to me and both were supportive and tried to help yet I haven’t heard from any of the others. All other private emails to try to get back on the BB have gone ignored. I mean if I/we disagree with some of the gsca ideas can this happen to more of us? I know for a fact it has happened to my friends Art Paltz and Steve Roytos, all they did was post their opinion albeit a differing opinion of Dave Greene, it was however in a straight forward non confrontational manner and they got the boot after 20 minutes. I on the other hand did not even get to express an opinion. Considdering I was posting two weeks before the BB went down and had not posted for 5 days since it came back up. This can only lead me to believe it was for personal reasons I was booted off the bb and I can not get dave greene to answer my four private emails nor any administrator has gotten back to me with an answer. I mean can’t we all discuss our opinions in a civilized manner in an open forum like the BB for which is it’s intended use I ask you. I don’t quite understand the value of a BB who’s collective information is of the same opinion, isn’t there more value in varied opinions with an end result of all individuals learning form each other. Think of it this way there are many ways to get these wonderful cars to run fast safely, reliably without breaking we all hope and thru all BB’s we all learn what works what doesn’t and most importantly share all ideas……again the main idea behind the concept of a BB. That is all I wanted to do and that is to help out TR folks with any problems they may have and if I can impart some ideas to help someone with their car I am only too happy to do it. However that has been taken away from me because as of now I am not allowed back on the gsca bb. Has anyone else had this type of problem after re registering to the gsca bb? | Come on, Rich! There ain't nothing curious about it. Obviously you, or your floor jack, has made someone mad. As you are aware, there has been a history of banning those that they don't like. Being a card carrying member of the GSCA does not help. Perhaps, if you bought ad space in the GSXTRA or donated parts to be tested, you might have a better chance. Least I now know to keep my eye on you as you are a member of that internet conspiracy I read about in the newsletter! ![]() ------------------ ------------------ Steve Wood 86 GN bought new, 87 T-type-81 El Camino with GN drive train-basically stock 86, 94 Caprice 9C1, 69 SS396 Camaro Convertible

| You just need to hire a "Spin Doctor" to explain what your Floor Jack really said! Or change your name to Lamont Crantston so you will know what evil lurks in the heart of men! ------------------ ------------------ Steve Wood 86 GN bought new, 87 T-type-81 El Camino with GN drive train-basically stock 86, 94 Caprice 9C1, 69 SS396 Camaro Convertible

Worked for OJ. Or change your name to Lamont Crantston so you will know what evil lurks in the heart of men! >> Who's that and was he a former gsca member who was banned too???
