| I want a Z06 | Is that a Limited? Can you get a vinyl roof in anything but a Limited??? Does that mean it has a Bench/Column or could you get a limited with buckets? I might call on it tonight and go take a look. |

There's really little difference between a base and Limted Regal. Although Limteds tend to have more options than base Regals, it's possible for a base Regal to be more luxurious than poorly optioned Limited. Both could have buckets and Landau roofs. Check the 5th digit of the VIN. M = Limited. I never really understood the Limited appeal. crazy It's the options, not the model, that's important.

With the collectabilty of these cars starting to go up, check the carpet to see if it's a real Limited. The pile is twice as heavy as a Turbo T and it's not available anywhere.

No it is not a Limited. One of our members has the exact setup and I remember asking him if he was sure it wasn't a Limited. The car still has the original paint and emblems and was bought brand new from the dealership.

I don't think they offered the Landau roof with the sport black out trim package. But many dealers had it done aftermarket. The coach lamps were only offered on the limited. It's good to see you on the right track again wink

My Limited has the doeskin leather bucket seats. If there was an option available I have it along with most other LTD's! Very few are less optioned than a base Regal if any? They define the saying "Going Fast with Class!" JMO

It's not a Limited. Base Regal with some options, including LC2. Chrome bumpers etc.

The plate above the glove box lights up when you turn on the lights. No pull strap on the doors rather has a nice strong handle, and wood trim on door. Chrome strip below the doors(unless you got the WO2 option). Pillow valor seats or leather. Wood trim on dash. JFH

Limited's are badged "limited" on each side of the car at the rear just below the "regal" emblems. It is about a half inch high by about 6 inches long. They also have an oblong or rectangular key pad on the trunk surrounding the key entry that matches a same and or similiar badge on each side of the car about 1.5 inches behind the rear quarter/opera windows and about even with the bottom of the side windows. The badges that are on the side of the car lining up with the bottom of the side windows would probably not be there if you have the opera lights. I also have an '87 turbo regal with the limited package option "but not an actual limited" which does not have the "Limited" insignas or badges on each side of the car at the rear below the regal badge. The limiteds and limited option packages also have the stainless steel strip running at the bottom of the side windows and extending to the perpendicular outsides of the doors. I do not remember if the turbo regals have this stainless strip or not. I don't believe that the GNs and We4s have that strip covering the window sills. The glove box has the words "turbo limited" on the inside of the aluminumized trim ring surrounding the glove box door. The door panels have gunmetal gray metal trim panels with the word "limited" on them. I do not know of any wood or similuated wood trim on the door or the dash. Possibly this is the plastic protection mylar on the dash bezel that most people do not realize that it is even there. I didn't till close examination. [ November 05, 2003, 08:54 AM: Message edited by: Gary Wells ]

If you buy it, I have a whole set of Limited dash trim including the lighted dash plate which works.
