Question Last Song

Picked this idea up from the other board. I thought the responses over there were very fascinating. I can't wait for your responses.

If you were on your death bed and knew you could only hear one more song, what would it be?

For me it would be 'I can only Imagine' by Mercyme. Most of you will not know that song, but those who do will know exactly what I am talking about and why I chose it.

So what's yours?

I know that song. Good choice!

Home Sweet Home has the right concept in title, but the content doesn't really match. I guess it sorta does at times. Thank You by Ray Boltz would be pretty appropriate. "Trading my Sorrows" would probably be the one I would play, provided I could still reach the CD player (or whatever we are using then).

Cool

That's a tough one, but I think I'd pick Zep's Stairway to Heaven!

A song on my deathbed? Why would I want to hear a song? I probably wouldn't be able to hear it over my screams of "I want to live!" anyway. If Shakira could do a live version of one of her songs and wiggle around on top of me, that would be a good way to go out.

Zap probably would rather hear the Gettysburg Address, or one of those motivational speaker tapes. Get out and DO something with the rest your life, you pathetic lazy West Virginian. You've got what, 3 minutes left? Get those cars off the blocks and get em inspected! Wash behind your ears! Apologize to all those you've offended on the message board! Start singing 1,999,999,999,999 Bottles of beer on the wall (The greatest song ever written) for FastwClass!

Who is Shakira?

I think Zap needs a motivational speaker like Tony Robbins to help him die.

Tony: Come on Zap, you can do it! No! No! Don't try opening your eyes! No! No! Don't try breathing! Just Die! Die I said! Die!

Then after Zap not listening, Tony would probably try smashing his head in with a shovel. But that probably won't work either because of Zap's thick skull.

Wow. What a question. I don't know for sure. Maybe The Eagles - Hotel California unplugged. I really don't know.

Ok. After much contemplation I have decided on the follwing song from the Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild Album. It is directed toward ludicrous left leaning liberals like Jesse Jackson, Billary Clinton...and Steve Wood. In the lyrics Mr Nugent subtiley sends them a message. See if you can guess the message.

KISS MY ASS

Telegram for Mr Billary...

C'mon baby,
Yeah, big ol' wet one...hey!

Kiss my ass,
Kiss my ass, (c'mon, everybody ought'a)
Kiss my ass, (tastes real good)
Kiss my ass. (oh...)

Don't waste your time on me
I got my own direction
Watch me close, wait and see
I'm lookin' for perfection
I make up my own mind
And I'll leave you far behind
When the goin' gets tough
You can kiss my ass

I believe in animal rights
I let my dog hump on my shin
I can tolerate sexual choice
But not with the next of kin (uh-uh, boy)
I've heard it all before
I ain't gonna take any more
When the goin' gets tough
You can kiss my ass

Everybody!
Kiss my ass, (pucker up)
Kiss my ass
Kiss my ass
Kiss my ass, (c'mon babe)

I've heard it all before
And I ain't gonna take no more, no no
When the goin' gets tough
Kiss my ass!

I see the weenies with the dirty hair
Protestin' on the street
They condemn the clothes we wear
And the morality of what we eat, yeah
It's gotta be a fluke
They make me wanna puke
When the goin' gets tough
They can kiss my ass

Everybody gotta
Kiss my ass - C'mon gang bangers
Kiss my ass - Janet Reno
Kiss my ass - C'mon Billary
Kiss my ass - Steve Wood
Kiss my ass - Callin' on Jesse Jackson
Kiss my ass - How about the IRS
Kiss my ass - Hey, Howard Stern
Kiss my ass - United Nations
Kiss my ass - Nasty Wendy
Kiss my ass - All those Liberals
Kiss my ass - C'mon Sarah Brady
Kiss my ass - Oh, Courtney Love I've got your hole
Kiss my ass - Beavis, Butthead
Kiss my ass - How about Crips and Bloods

I've heard it all before
And we ain't gonna take it no more
When the goin' gets rough
When the goin's to tough
When the goin' gets rough
They oughta' kiss my ass

Very Easy Question.

Van Halen, "Dreams" off of the 5150 album.
This song can take me from the worst day of my life to being happy and on top of the world. Van Halen is my #1 band!!!

My wife knows that when she comes home and that song is cranked on the stereo to leave me alone until it is done.

This board needs less redundancy and more originality. Zap and I have the former covered, thank you.

FM, you can't be serious!

Apparently, you guys fell for the deathbed scene in Love Story...

All I want is a steady drip of Morphine and Versed.

Okay, just to answer your question, the sound of a free flowing exhaust.

Great taste! My pick would have to be "Unchained". Just got in to VH about 4 years ago, and all their stuff makes me feel like partying!
