They do not want base housing and are looking to rent for at least 4 years.....they take great pide in thier home and would be the best tennants you could have.

If you can help or know someone in the area that could.....i would be eternally grateful to you :TU:

Out of curiosity, why the aversion to post housing if they're going to rent anyways? If they're on post, they'd be saving money as they'd be closer to the on post commissary and post exchange (I forget what the Marines call a PX).

My reason for not wanting to live on post when I was renting was because I wanted a two car garage, and I didn't like having to dress like it's winter time when it's 100+ degrees out and I wanted to take the motorcycle for a ride.

There's a 6 month waiting list and they have 4-wheels so they also need a two car garage.

WildBill,
A buddy of mine is a Marine who may have some properties down near Camp Swampy. I'll ring him up and find out. Tell your son I said Semper Fi and thanks.
