I personally use a .270 for deer and antelope, but a friend is a total "bigger is better" guy and made me shoot his new .338 Lapua. Ouch. I couldn't sit over a bench and shoot that all day!

I'll stick to God's gift to the gun world, the M14. With my M14 and a stack of 20 round mags I sleep well at night, but I'm not paranoid.

I sold my Ruger SuperRedHawk when I received news that I was gonna have a child. Ever since I have been thinking of a replacement for it when the time is right. That Smiff is a nice piece and so is the DesertEagle. I think I may just opt for a Street Sweeper and load it up with slugs yup .

Were you afraid you would kill the father, or what? Did it hurt a lot when you had it? :p

We could build a spud gun out of a concrete culvert and send Zap out 250 yards at about 700 ft a sec!

I bet if we did that, some damn senator would be on CNN talking about the dangers to society we posed when actually, we were improving society.
steve, if you get me the stuff i can build it. the cops still have my last spud gun

do some research and let me know..... here is some fun reading (look at the promo videos): http://www.spudtech.com/default.asp

Yeah, I always enjoy that site. I was over there the other day looking for that gatling gun that used to listed.

I have about 200 gals of propane on hand, we won't have to waste money on hair spray! LOL

Wonder if we could get Zap into orbit? Might ought to wrap the barrel with duct tape in case we cannot accelerate his mass.

we could also use bailing wire to even further reinforce the barrel, i can imagine the pressure that would be needed to launch him in to space.

i say its possible, i will work up a plan later in the day.

No, I just couldn't bear the thought of an accident involving my child and my gun. It didn't hurt at all, the gun is balanced pretty good and the recoil is largely aborbed by its weight. :p
