Zmax Dragway @ Concrod

We went to qualifing to the inagurual Carolina Nationals at Zmaz dragway. I have to tell you that this may be the nicest facility in the country. If someone doesn't get a national event there so everyone can check it out then you will be missing out for sure. Here are some pictures I took.

Great pics Sully, thanks!

This picture caught my attention http://www.v6racing.com/zmax/ashleyforce2.jpg 4 lanes? Then i looked on the tracks website:

Quote:
The state-of-the art drag racing facility will be the only all-concrete, four-lane drag strip in
the United States. A pair of two-lane strips, located side-by-side, allow for a variety of
opportunities including specific track preparation for different vehicles, racing four cars at
a time, and the possibility for racing to continue in the event of an oil-down that requires
extensive cleanup to one of the lanes.
How f'ing cool is this!!

It is way cool. I thought of a few pictures I should have taken but didn't including one of all four lanes. The facility is just amazing. Big LCD TV so you can watch what you can't see and the end of track driver interviews on the jumbotron. The 4 lanes, all concrete was incredible. Two of the lanes didn't have any rubber on them yet. The place is a complete sellout for today and it has a ton of seats.

I can't wait til they start their test and tune sessions there. It's only 40 mins from my house. Less when there is no traffic.

SICK is exactly what came to my mind.

I see Ashley's car lost the "pink" theme, or it's just not visible in the pictures...

Great pics Sully BTW...
