While I do play with the idea of some conspiracies, I do disagree with this one. I know people who directly went into the building and they explained what they saw and heard. It is simple physics on this one. One piece(truss) broke which over loaded the other trusses. They couldn't hold the weight of the conrete from all those floors. Never trust a truss so they say.

However, I do very much believe they knew something was going to happen. Not exactly this but that something huge would occur. It is simply history repeating itself. We knew they would sink the Lusitania, and knew about the attack threats against pearl harbor. We wanted a reason for war, well we got it...

I was involved in a building collapse/fire/explosion in Harlem around 1987. There was after exploding for a week from fuel, shorts and other sources. Maybe Bush had the CIA do this building too.

this isnt the thread to start this debate, but an explosion in a mechanical room in the sub-basement could not have been related to a plane hit 80 floors above.

This was a coodinated attack, (many plane at once)I dont see why people are so resistant to be open to the possibility that some of the terrorists used planes and some used vans

I know about the conspiracy theory. I was asking because I wanted to know if this was sarcasm or an attempt at making a commemorative thread into a showcase for presenting this crap. I wanted to know how disrespectful and rude people can be. Even on this board.

It's real simple... 3000 people are now dead. If you think it's a conspiracy than start a new thread. This thread is to remember the loss of 3000 people who did nothing more than go to work on a Tuesday morning.

I think you can tell by my tone that I take this personally.

I knew people who lost their lives in the WTC, and I dont think its disrespecful to demand answers as to why or how they died..its actually showing respect

It's not out of disrespect that I'm late on this one- just pure greed (work). I was a bit north of NY that day (lived in ME at the time), but I had already purchased my Greyhound ticket to move back out west by then. I passed through the Port Authority on September 27th and, after reaching NJ by way of the Lincoln tunnel, I looked back and even then saw a massive cloud of black smoke rising out of lower Manhattan. Every time I tell the story of the first time that I saw the Twin Towers people look at me like I'm romanticizing it due to latter circumstances, but I was 19 and it was my first time to NY...I walked from Times Square to what is now Ground Zero and looked up in awe. Idiots who need to feel like they are smart enough to be in on some kind of larger truth (like the religious) need to watch a few episodes of Penn & Teller's Bull$hit and only then post. Recently I heard someone ask (paraphrasing): "A bunch of religious whackos trained for years to find a way to take down trophy buildings of the most powerful nation in the world and used simple tools to cause the death of many innocent people who were merely going to work that day...isn't that enough of a conspiracy for you people?!" I, myself, would ask, "What exactly *should* the floors of a massive building sound like when they are violently slamming down upon eachother?"
