Everything is right on schedule as far as the gas prices are concerned. The news is reporting that for a few straight days in a row the gas prices have dropped by a few cents just below $4 a gallon now! Now everyone forgets that the price is 4x what it should be in the first place. It will hold steady at $3.99 a gallon for a year or so then next year it will be on it's way to $5 a gallon which will be blamed on holiday travel and other nonsense.

I think you off on the predictions. Okay this is a repeat of the 2004 elections. Gas prices will slowly drop another 10 cents or so until the first week in November. They'll be back up to $4 by Thanksgiving and $5 by Memorial Day 09.
