2-Way Radio

So, I am using a Motorola 2-Way Radio at work (XTS 5000R) and have been looking for a signal booster of some sort to help improve communication among my co-workers... anyone have any site links to stores that sell such accessories?? The internet sucks at my location in the world and I have been having trouble doing research. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I looked a couple months ago for a booster for a wireless router and couldn't find much. Did find one article saying that every antenna is made different for every phone model and make. The FCC makes companies do that to make sure you don't tamper with them, becouse there is a big fine for tampering with the antenna.

Seen booster for cell phones on ebay selling but they must find a loop hole to avoid the FCC.

Don't be messin' with the FCC, they have NO sense of humor! I'll assume since you didn't say it was a CB, that it is a VHF or UHF radio, and as such, your problem may lie in the repeater you're going through, assuming one is being used. Either way, YOU are not authorized to modify your system in any way shape or form, other than troubleshooting for possible issues. (bad antenna connections, etc.)

Cell phones don't have booster, but do have repeaters available. very $$$$ These are FCC certified before sale.
