| Resident Idiot | Do aftermarket shifter handles exist that will properly fit on the GN shifter? It needs the button and the holes for the clip that holds the handle on the shifter. Need one for a special application.. ------------------ '87 GN - Stock Block, Stock Cam, Stock Turbo, Stock Heads, V4, MSD50's, TH DP, JayJackson 62mm TB, 16position MaxEffort Chip. 3680# with Driver 11.92 @ 111.77mph '87 Mazda RX-7 w/GN Powerplant Visit : http://www.MisRed.com mailto:mike@TurboBuicks.commike@TurboBuicks.com</A>

| Just about any shifter handle from a GM car, such as a Firebird, will work. You could also get a trick billet one from http://www.buickgn.com ------------------ Dean P. '82 Regal "sportwaGN" in progress '00 Camaro SS

| Doesn't Buick From Hell make super-cool neato anodized aluminum shifter handles?

| Resident Idiot | Ok, so some other cars from the General have the same style shifter handle? I didn't know this. I'll add that to my junk yard list. A handle with a TCC button on it is just what I need. ------------------ '87 GN - Stock Block, Stock Cam, Stock Turbo, Stock Heads, V4, MSD50's, TH DP, JayJackson 62mm TB, 16position MaxEffort Chip. 3680# with Driver 11.92 @ 111.77mph '87 Mazda RX-7 w/GN Powerplant Visit : http://www.MisRed.com mailto:mike@TurboBuicks.commike@TurboBuicks.com</A>

| BFH, I always wanted on of those handles, but I always wondered if the "silver" aluminum ever got dirty or gummed up from use. ![]() ------------------ '87 T .030 overbore/ 240 cam/ heads port/ polish/ all 3in. pipes (exh and int)inc. | I'll be waitin' Mike! ![]() Kid--actually, there were a FEW there, Eric Juengling took a few (plus some other stuff) but he ended up with no place to set up shop! (Jason Cramer was selling some of my stuff too, but no shifters) Mr. T, I'm not really sure! I used one for a few months on my car (I've had several different ones on it) and it didn't seem to "dirty up"! They're billet 6061-T6 aluminum, and if they DO get dirty, some mothers mag polish (or any other aluminum cleaner/polish I presume) should clean 'em right up! (btw, I also engrave 'em!)
