Its amazing how much pets touch our lives! Some who have never had one dont understand it, but as owners we completely understand how much they can mean to someone.
Weird maybe, but I care more for most of the animals I meet compared to most of the people I meet.

It's been very difficult finding the right dog. I'm realizing now that I'm still on the fence about this. I really don't want to go through putting another dog down. I sometimes wish they would just die when it's their time, so that I don't feel like I'm playing God. Imagine if it was a family member and you had to make a descision to live or die. I know the argument about quality of life, but somewhere inside we think the dog will just get better or that we are betraying them by putting them down. It's a big descision for me.

I have a 9 year old Chocolate Lab. They are ****ING NUTS for the 1st 3-4 years. I mean crazy energy.. I ended up getting a flashing ball so I could run the dog at night before bed. He never sat down for 3 years, this is after running in the morning and afternoon... Make sure you have lots of time and a big back yard. He loves to be around people and just wants to be part of the action.

And thy LOVE water

I don't think he sheds a lot, not like my friends Huskys. THAT is serious shedding..
