Liberalism faltered when it turned out it could not cope with truth. D. Moynihan

Some in my party threaten to send a message that they don't know a just war when they see it, and more broadly that they're not prepared to use our military strength to protect our security and the cause of freedom. Joe Lieberman

Somehow liberals have been unable to acquire from life what conservatives seem to be endowed with at birth: namely, a healthy skepticism of the powers of government agencies to do good. Daniel Moynihan

Ahhhhh.....Aint that the cutest little 'ol plane? We (Boeing) build those on a 3/4 day cylcle, meaning that we roll on out in 3/4 of a day. If we had the room to build them faster, we would. (though, I have never worked on that line)

Nothing like the B-17 days, though. They built them at a rate of 18 a day during WWII. (one an hour)

We use to build 747-400's on a 4 day rate.:eek! Now, THAT was a serious challenge. 12 hours a day/ 7 days a week. 3 months on, two days off. Man, I hated that. They tell me that those days are coming soon on the 787 for me.

Wow, it's remarkable how down to a science building something that huge is. For some reason I felt like they did them WAY slower and were done with less man power and more precision robotics.

Cool job Turbofab, which aspect are you on??
