| Ahhhhh.....Aint that the cutest little 'ol plane? We (Boeing) build those on a 3/4 day cylcle, meaning that we roll on out in 3/4 of a day. If we had the room to build them faster, we would. (though, I have never worked on that line )Nothing like the B-17 days, though. They built them at a rate of 18 a day during WWII. (one an hour) We use to build 747-400's on a 4 day rate.:eek! Now, THAT was a serious challenge. 12 hours a day/ 7 days a week. 3 months on, two days off. Man, I hated that. They tell me that those days are coming soon on the 787 for me. ![]()

| Wow, it's remarkable how down to a science building something that huge is. For some reason I felt like they did them WAY slower and were done with less man power and more precision robotics. Cool job Turbofab, which aspect are you on??
