Post Anyone Got Any Updates On The BMW That Rolled Yesterday?

Yesterday at the track, a gorgeous BMW 320i with a blown BBC, lost it in the traps and rolled it. The car ran 9.30 @ 140+ when it happened. The driver, a female, appeared to be OK, but I was wondering if anyone got an update. Ironically, as she was staging, the announcer mentioned that she ocassionally drives it to work

She is the wife to one of our local mechanics,Scott Vandespool . He Owns and races the banana Yellow tubbed out Olds thats always there racing. From what i was told today shes fine at home and obviously very sore. There was mention of a possible injury to her ankle, but thats unknown.

The car and chassis was built by him at home. There was no farming out of work on it.
He did a great job building a chassis that kept his wife virtualy uninjured at 140mph. they are both hardcore drag racers and surely will bounce back very soon.

Glad to hear she is fine. I have watched that car progress over the last couple of months. I thought he looked familiar. As I was in line to enter the track, he drove that awesome Olds in from the east, got in line, then pushed it in the rest of the way. Just idling next to me had my windows rattling.
