Any word on the calendars yet?

I am working on them. I pretty much have all the pictures in there, and am working on the layout.... I probably wont open up the sale until next week - I have to travel to Ohio tomorrow, returning thursday, then friday drive up to minnesota, returning sunday. Ill have 2 days, then wednesday going to St Louis, returning Friday.... I should be able to get the layout done while I am out of town - then Ill start taking orders, and ship all the ones I can when i get home Monday/tuesday of next week.....

Just keep watching this thread.

Oh - and if you got a reply from me that DIDNt give you a reeason why i couldnt use your pictures - you are in the calendar..... You should see your name below....

OK.... I have printed the first run. This year I did not include the banner ads from the tbs.com site. I intended to as always - the problem is, about 10 of the banner gifs (which are all animated) - dont staticly show up as a banner I can print.... I even tried doing a screen capture and cutting and pasting (which looked horrible...). I always try to give the paying advertisers some free advertising in the calendar - it just didnt work out that way this year... If Mike can get me some decent looking static images I can put in... well then.... calendars subject to change...

Anywho - the printer is running as we speak. i will be around tonight and tomorrow - out of town then until Friday night.... And calendar orders that come in by Saturday for sure will ship by Saturday. Sorry for the delay - but you know how anal I am about not taking anyone's money until the printer is spitting out calendars. The order page has been updated - same price as usual even though postage went up again this year.

In the sample pic, I made the january layout bigger so you can see how it fits. The "outside" pics are each months highlight picture. Then I chose a bunch of the extra submitted pics I didnt use and spread them around the calendar pages as thumbnails (like I used to do with all the extra submissions that didnt win.)

Not a problem. The first 10 dont have the banners.... the rest will... ;-)

Sorry about that - I have been travelling like crazy, normally I am at home and have time to work on that stuff.... I tried to use the old banners I have made last year, but quite a few advertisers have changed this year....

Thanks Todd. I really like your calendars. This year I paid attention to how many free calendars that I threw away, 7, while waiting to put the GN on up.

I really appreciate the effort you go through to do this for us.

No problem. I was all caught up on Saturday - all those that ordered before Saturday went out before 11am.... But you know how the post office is this last two weeks of the year.
Orders that came in mon/tue will go in todays mail - namely, Bryan (3) from PA, and Michael (1) from PA.

Remember - I produce them in house - so I can keep making them as long as people keep ordering. So, you don't have to ask if I "have any left!".

I always have some left. Heck, a guy this year ordered up 2006 and 2007 tbs calendars..... Just ran them through with the 2008s.
