| I hope I did this right. The BOD answered Mr Rogers and mentioned he is not even a member of the bpg posted on the v8 site. Hold onto those rained out tickets. I guess I missed a good meet. Definitely will be going next year. The owner/moderators have been lenient enough to let this post continue awaiting answers to what on the surface appear to be legitimate questions fielded by Jim Rodgers. Fortunately the owner/moderators have also had the opportunity to deal first hand with Jim Rodgers in their past dealings with the BPG. Therefore, most of what I am about to say will come as no surprise. This is not going to be a political statement or a verbal attack on the GSCA. The BPG has taken great efforts to stop the public bashing amongst the clubs on its forum. However, it seems other Buick forums are still fair game for the verbal jousting. Jim Rodgers has decided to call me out specifically to further his agenda on this forum. Jim: As a BPG member you must have been very proud when you heard of the overwhelming success at the 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals. The event was hot, rained out on Sunday, but not a misfortune. To borrow a well used expression, "it was the biggest and best ever". The crowds were large, the vendors midway was crowded, and most had a good time. Yes it rained on Sunday with the Sunday racing program being cancelled. Short of using a jet dryer, National Trail Raceway worked very hard to try to get the program in. However, mother nature won. What is of more interest is your concern for how the BPG is handling payouts and refunds. You have stated "how does the BPG (we, since I am a member)" implying you are a BPG member. Why then have you chosen to voice you concerns and questions on the V8 board when a similar discussion was being held on your forum, the BPG forum. As a BPG member, you would have immediate access to the other members opinions and an audience with the Board of Directors. You and the BOD know the answer to that. It's time the rest of the readers also know. Four weeks ago you quit the BPG. You demanded that your name be removed from the member roster. You demanded the "Buildsheet" not be sent to you. You then proceeded to rip the BPG, the BOD, and the editor of the "Buildsheet". You also announced you would not be attending the Columbus event. So what is the real reason you asked these questions under the lie "since I am a member". You wanted to "stir the pot". You saw an opportunity to take another shot at the BPG. This time on the V8 board. When you talked with Jim W. about this post, did you tell him you quit the BPG a month earlier and was using his forum to further your vendetta? Did you tell all of these people lining up to ask you questions about "your BPG club" that you quit a month earlier and burned the BPG bridges behind you. Are these nameless people so dependent on you that they couldn't seek answers themselves. No, no, no. One lie lead to another and you figured no one would know the difference. People aren't that stupid. The BPG Board of Directors had the opportunity to share your "I quit" with the rest of the membership. We decided not to do so in yet another effort to stop the bashing. This would have been worse than the beating you took on the turbobuicks site. Now for the final answer to all of your questions. The BPG Board of Directors has decided that payouts for the 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals race classes that were not run on Sunday due to the rainout will be carried over to the 2008 BPG event and paid in ADDITION to the 2008 payouts. Ticket Refunds - Anyone presenting a 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals race ticket stub for the Sunday rainout will be given a free race ticket at the 2008 BPG event. These tickets can be exchanged at the registration tent. S8/Q16 stickers - Anyone who purchased a S8/Q16 sticker for the 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals will be entitled to a free S8/Q16 sticker for 2008. The BPG has a list of those who did purchase the 2007 sticker. These stickers will be made available at the 2008 event. The Board of Directors wants to handle the unfortunate rainout in the best interests of our members and guests. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Thank you. __________________ John Schmidt BPG # 1003

| Oh man Mr. Rogers replied to Mr. Schmidts post. Man doesn't Mr Rogers get it? Bottom line he was not a member and he did not attend, he just doesn't get it. What does this loser, looks like? Maybe we should all give him a call, or maybe we should all send him some postcards like the ones he sends other people, filled with love and joy ![]()

Jim C. PS- And get your facts straight I didn't ask any questions and I didn't bash anyone or make FALSE accusations. My post was relavent to a question posted there about the underlying tone of the questions being presented. Seems like everytime one or a group of you gets called to task for something you try and put your own spin on it. Stick to the facts.

| Jim, the big difference is the BPG and it's members have nothing to hide. All of it's info can be acquired by just asking or reading. There is no " I got you" or Payback. It's like your sneaking and plotting to get a burger at McDonalds. All you have to do is say "One #1 please and supersize it and off you go. It's easy. To get GSCA info you need the FBI, CIA,OSS and NOW to get info. ![]()

| It appaers to me that both Jim Carswell and Jim Rogers have managed to elavate themselves to a level beyond total A-Holes of the Buick community. We are all laughing at you both. Whatever respect either of you thought you deserved from the Buick community just went up in smoke. Your both a joke. Go back to your "CLUB" with your tails between your legs and inform your leader that you are both failures. If I were your leader you'd both be fired for making yourselves and your club look so pathetic. Tell all your friends and supporters to rally around both of you and let us know how they feel. Your both an embarrisment to the Buick name and a couple of sneaks and wiesels. Go away, we don't need losers like you in our community. You both have done much more harm than good than you even realize. |
