I don't know about any of you, but I for one am sick of all of Jim Rodgers antics. This is a man who is the mouthpiece of the GSCA and he is talking out of one side of his mouth wooing sponsors and the other side of his mouth bashing everyone who dares stand up to him. I have been watching his mouth for days now, but as usual, I try to stay out of things like this as I don't have time for his non-stop rhetoric. But, when he runs his mouth against ME, well, I feel it's time I respond.

For the record, I am not hmz029997. I TOLD him this in a private PM last week when he asked. But, as you can see, nothing anyone tells him has any bearing whatsoever. It's time for the Rodgers spin. What kind of moron could conclude someone else is me because they are based in Nashville? Everybody in the Buick world KNOWS me as "collector". Now, why would I create a new handle to post an ad on TBS when it is to my advantage to use my well known handle? I TOLD Mr Rodgers that I was out of town and I had them post the ad for me. So simple, but, as we well know, there will be a Rodgers spin. Gimme a break! I used to think he had a brain but between his spelling ( while he knock everyone else's spelling no less! ) and his deductive reasoning, ( a Nashville post, it MUST be Chamberlain!!!! ) I cannot see any way he made it past 4th grade. In maturity level, too. OK, I'm being generous here. Maturity level is kindergarden. You should be ashamed of yourself. I know that all of US are ashamed of YOU between your mouth and you getting your Buick POUNDED by the Hemi car, which I might add, you never even took to the track before the race. What kind of a brilliant strategy was that, anyway? Go up against a Hemi owner who races his car every weekend sorting it out, and YOU show up with a car that you've never even had on the track before to represent the entire Buick community? Do I hear the word "Moron" again? Now the whole world knows about it as it was slated to be in Hot Rod and you knew it. And, instead of crawling in a hole and disappearing like any sane person would after that merciless pounding by the Hemi car, you come back pointing fingers and MOUTH at everyone else! Where IS everybody to defend poor Jim Rodgers? Haven't seen a one yet. Maybe someday in the distant future this will finally click..

I have a great idea -- Why don't we see if the GSCA can have a special feature on, let's say Saturday morning at the Nationals? They can sell tickets to watch as irritated Buick owners punch Jim Rodgers in the head for all the damage he's done to the Buick community. Anyone want to sign up, check with me. $10 gives you one good punch or kick, whichever you prefer, and we'll donate the money to charity. You up for it, Jimbo? Think anyone will sign up? I'm betting hundreds will....



So, where do we go from here? We have a representative of the GS club here who has dragged all of us into the gutter. If I were a sponsor for this event I would have pulled out long ago and demanded my money back. If I was planning on attending this event, I wouldn't. And, it's too bad, too. We are supposed to be having fun with our cars. That's what I have MINE for. The Bowling Green event has always been the standard by which others are judged. 26 long years. My hat is off to those who have kept it all together for all these years. It has been a tough road and I know that there were many times that it was at a cross-roads when garbage like this surfaces and the people in charge come under attack and they get to the point where they are ready to throw in the towel. I know the feeling. You get to the point that it isn't fun anymore. Is this your main agenda, Jimbo? Destroy the GSCA? You have virtually done it, and all by yourself. Hope you're proud of your accomplishments. Let's put it over there with your Stage1 getting it's doors blown off by that Hemi car. Next thing you know, no GS Club, thanks to you, and no value for Buicks. Who'd want one anyways, look how bad that Hemi car beat that Stage 1, the cars that the musclecar world was finally starting to recognize. Then, along comes Jim Rodgers. I'm thinking EVERYONE that goes to Bowling Green will line up for their turn. What a moron! Go AWAY, Jim Rodgers. Why don't you go raise donkeys or something? ( You will feel right at home there. ) Sell your cars and disappear. No one wants to see you or hear from you ever again in this Buick community.

For your information, I deduced hmz029997 is you by the fact that your name is signed on the post and your two phone numbers are in the post. YOUR name, and YOUR phone number! The post coming from Nashville was just the first clue. Plain and simple you got caught. It's you, if not, prove it.

Furthermore, I have sat back and watched over the years as guys on this board have berated the GSCA, the Nationals, Red, Ron, Richard, Bennett, me and you John without anyone saying anything about it. It has happened for years. Now, someone instigates this whole thing by making an insulting personal post about me on this board, and I come on and dish back the same stuff they have been dumping around for years, and I am the bad guy? For defending myself???? Get real pal. These same people were knocking you not too long ago. In fact, I remember you discussing these same guys in private on the GSCA board, much like you did about me in your post. I guess you have forgotten about that though in your efforts to promote your own event and your own payouts. Knocking me isnt gonna make your event any better John, that is going to take hard work and determination. Remember the posts about "John Chamberlain...Richard's whipping boy", and much worse, from right here on this board? How soon you forget. Should I post some of your comments about these guys here to refresh your memory? Now who is talking out of both sides of their mouth?

Trust me, I am not alone in this. There are plenty of guys tired of all the crap dished out on this board and elsewhere. You used to be one of them. Looks like from the below snip from your post, that at one time you were tired of it too. But you never stood up and did anything about it.

Just because I am the only one standing up to it does not mean I am alone. Anytime anyone has anything to say back at these guys, they are ganged up on by the same group that started all this crap in the first place. You have personal experience from the year or two you ran the Nationals. I have learned one thing though through all this mess, they can dish it out, but they damn sure cant take it. One of their very own told me just that a few days ago when this all got started.

Say what you want about me John, I have very thick skin as you know. I am not the enemy here. I never called you the whipping boy.

As for your $10 game for BG, whats my cut? I'm in! You gonna take the first shot since you brought it up? The first one is free. Or are we going to have a friendly chat under the tower like we always have?

As for the HEMI race, why is it you NEVER stepped up for ANY of the Buick/HEMI races with one of your well tuned and tested sure bet Stage 1's? Someone else always had to, while you just talked about it.
