>>> Hi Alan,

Yeah it was nice to get a win without carnage no complaints with this car, talking softly here as I don't want to jinx myself and ran the silver car all year also until last weekend but we'll fix her no biggie.

The EFI shootout consider the ET streets a "slick" and can not compete in the radial tire classes. Couple years ago they put me in the radial tire class then bumped me over to their slick class.

Combo in wifes car is as follows:

John Craig TA61
009's
Jim Testa Race Chip
Tomka cold air kit
10" 3200 stall lock up Pat's convertor
3 angle valve job on heads from when motor was redone by Dan Smith
Non Turbo crank
26x11.5x15 ET Streets
Hooker exhaust
Two air bags
116 Maximal Race gas
Deltagate set at 26 psi
Scanmaster

This is what it's been for the past almost 9 years on this car and knock wood the car has stayed together, probably because it has never seen anything but 116 race gas in it when I race and she never detonates.

It's a nice little combo that has worked for me on this car and is way more fun from a production number ie. truck and trailer and tools etc than my silver car.

Just a fun hassle free car and combo.

Rich, that is a fairly similar setup to my car (minus the rebuilt motor ) However I can only hope that my car could run that consistent, I do see that the consistency is within the short times. Maybe you can teach some of the tricks so that next year we take over all classes

Congrats again

Jim Rome... Take notes will ya!!!
