RIP Titan

My best friend and cat Titan passed away last week, he was a great cat very friendly and nice and he was a big cat. I know I am going to miss him alot, he had kidney trouble for a while now and he probably had kidney failure while I was away. The house sitter (my Grandma) called me and told me the bad news that she went to my house one day and he was gone I have just came back and it is so sad to come back home and see him there.
RIP Titan.

Sorry for your loss. Our cats and dogs are truly an important part of our lives. I've got an older dog who limbs around with arthritis. I dread the day I loose him. He is a constant friend.

Sorry to hear that, Bro. I got an email last week from my Ex, saying that King, a cat we had since 1987 had to be put down. I was hoping to see him one more time but they're 3,500 miles away.
In 2001 I drove to Mexico for the winter and while I was there I volunteed at a shelter and took care of all the cats and kittens. www.anitasanimals.com I eventually fostered some of the tinyest kittens that didn't have much of a chance competeing with the others. I ended up taking two of them with me back to Toronto. Homie and Chico. That was the best road-trip of my life. After a few months they were diagnosed with peritonitis and had to be euthanised. That really sucked.
I share your sorrow.

Sorry for your loss. Its nice to hear that there are other cat guys out there. My cat Kitty just celebrated her 5th birthday last week. I got her when she was not even a week old. She is a tortoise shell calico and was abandoned in the big pile of truck bedliners out behind my parts dept. She has four big brothers that went to happy homes with the girls in the office. I used to sneak home for lunch just so I could feed her with a bottle. I dont think she would have made it if 9-11 didn't happen as business came to a stop and I would take 2 or 3 hour lunch hours just so I could feed her. She has to got to be one of the smartest cats I've ever had. She is house trained and sometimes I dont know if she thinks she is a person or that I'm a cat. She will go to the door and stand on her hind legs and try to open the door knob when she wants out. At night she will jump on the night stand and turn the lights on in the bedroom when she wants something. A four legged PITA sometimes. As my wife says, she doesn't know how lucky she is having you for her daddy as I have spoiled her rotten. I live on the highway and we put out old dog food for the strays and animals that come to the house. All of the cats in the area know they can get a bite and drink of water here. The fun part is naming the regulars that show up. Two have died in my driveway from being hit by cars. One was a tabby we named Darkness because he has a long nose like a dog and a very high pitched meow. I said he reminded me of the lead singer of the group Darkness. You know the ugly guy that sings high notes. The other was a black and white Tom named Shorty because he had no tail.I found Darkness's owner so his body went back home. I buried Shorty in the pine grove across the street. It wouldn't seem right if the turkey vultures would have gotten to them. Right now the only regular that stops by is a gray long hair named Fabio. He has taken a liking to sitting on my Riviera and likes to watch when I work on the cars in the driveway. I'm going to be deveastated when my cat goes.

Did anybody see the movie Constantine? There is a scene where they use a cat to communicate with the underworld(Satan) because they aren't mentioned in the Bible. When ever I play stare down with my cat I get the feeling she is going to murder me in my sleep.

Cats are awesome animals, and they are a little creepy if you think about them too much. There are still great to have around though. They make life that much more enjoyable.

Titan always had a happy look on his face and always wanted to play. He was a older cat that was saved from the pound. I took good care of him and he was also a very clam and quiet cat as well.

There's nothing wrong with loving your cat...just ask Goldberg!
I was trying to find the Cat Fancy magazine issue where he's on the cover, but this'll do.

Sorry for your loss. I always remind people you can never replace your pet, but if you try at least adopt from the shelter and perhaps one loss of life can save another...

Well Titan is survived buy his (nephew) Jonesy named after the cat in alien. I found him as a kitten under the bushes one night, Titan was mad about his new nephew at first but they got along well after a while. Jones really misses Titan I can tell he is upset as well.
