You remember the "Planet of The Apes" movie where the crazed underground mutants worshipped their nuclear bomb? That's my impression of the Iranian Mullahs. And we thought the commies having the bomb was bad.

It took you this long to realize that? One bomb lobbed from Iran to Israel or Israel to Iran and you will have a helluva lot more bitching to do about oil and gas prices than you do now. A HELLUVA LOT.Iran may not be a direct military threat to the US (obviously), but their ability to become a disrupting force in the middle east could prove fatal to the world's economy. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, even you. Racer (slow lurner) X and yes, Iran scares the hell out of me. In fact any fanatical with a WMD does. BTW Gothmog, have you seen the book coming out by the General of the Iraqi Airfarce, Sada, who states that Saddam got his WMDs out of the country via civilian aircraft prior to the start of the war. Here is the link.... Link

The Palestinians voted for the most radical group becuase they're basically "tired of this $hit" and want some change The Iranians are building a bomb because they're afraid. The #1 superpower threatened 3 countries , and invaded the one without nukes, so they figure, if they have a nuke it will protect them from this war-monger in the Whitehouse. Mark my words, if Iran gets a nuke, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.

| The leadership is fanatical and does not necessarily represent the will of the educated classes but does represent much of the masses who believe whatever the mullahs tell them. They did not build the bomb because they are afraid...they have been building it for years as a tool to impose themselves into the leadership role in the area in spite of not being Arabs. They rightfully figure the gutless west will do nothing to stop them as the majority of European oil comes out of Iran. God promised rulership of the world to these nutcases 1400 years ago and they managed to rule most of it for a few hundred years. These guys believe it is their duty to wipe out the infidel and subjugate the rest beneath their heel. The godless Europeans don't understand they are the infidels as they have forgotten the lessons taught long ago. The Palestinians voted for Hamas because they were tired of the absolute corruption of Fateh and hoped for better from Hamas. They don't give a damn if Hamas is a tool of Iran, or not. They just want food, shelter, and some hope. Iran does not give a damn about the Palestinians as they are simply inferior Arabs. But, they see a means to destroy Israel and enhance their position as the rightful rulers of the Islamic world. Saudi is going to have a hissy fit, but, they are not only completely corrupt, they have no military power because they are afraid the Saud house would be overthrown. |

Iran with a Nuke is a scary thought, since all those people think Death is the goal of life they don't care if they start WWIII. Good thing Iran threatened Israel already, gives them the perfect excuse to **** up Iran. ![]()
